Which is the real world? Part 2.

But I shall go down from this airy place, this swift white peace, this stinging exultation.
And time will close about me, and my soul stir to the rhythm of the daily round.
Yet, having known, life will not press so close, and always I shall feel time ravel thin about me;
For once I stood
In the white windy presence of eternity.
(Eunice Tietjens.)

... and now for the daily dose of medecine (the funny-bone tickling kind), here's something Gerald and I laughed at, a lot, in January when it was particularly topical.

Don't use the link if you think you may be offended, as you probably will be.
(And if you are Alexander or Sophie, you will find it too boring, don't bother :-))

Off to beat this business (Transformation Analytics) into a little more shape ...

  3. Me again... Just finished my Bible reading, and a verse jumped out at me for you, Gerald:
"When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul." (Ps. 94:19)
    God bless

  4. Ian, Robin Williams should not be too scary.
Lois, where did you find the quote!
"Abby", thanks for the psalm - didn't quite manage to rise at 5am this morning for my creative stint but was semi-creative at about 8am!

  5. It wasn't Robin Williams that scared me, it was having my browser warn me about the web page. It honestly hasn't done that before, so I guess I ascribe it more significance than it if warned me every day.

  7. If I saw it (I may have just seen little bits of it) I was more impressed with how fast-talking he was. Quite uncartoonlike, I thought.

  9. Safari 3.2.1. I'm pretty sure you don't use that, you PC user you.

I've also noticed a caching problem with this blog. It's not my local cache that's giving trouble, as I get an old version of the page even after emptying my cache. The last two posts weren't there when I first loaded this page just now, even though the post at 4:40pm today was by me.

And the first time I click the Post Comment button each post I always get the message "Your request could not be processed. Please try again." I bet I've got a whole bunch of Google cookies now.

  11. Crazy - I just had to reload to get the last two posts again. And it was only a few minutes ago that I posted the first of those two posts.

Anyway, welcome to the wonderful world of reverse psychology. An example: My psychology lecturer at university warned us all several times to not read our textbook like a novel, so of course we did and thoroughly enjoyed it. Now, if the video had been described as educational...
