Help For Novices

Some people are still finding it hard to use the blog.
Hmm...
All I can say with that is to follow prompts and enjoy.

Recently I discovered that I have to now moderate all comments coming thru, so there may be some delay in seeing your comment appear in the blog...
I will let all genuine comments thru, as long as they feed healthily and positively into the stream.

If you are looking for any/all references to a particular subject (e.g. Jan Garbarek, bowel movements, Alien), there is a funky little window in the top left hand corner where you simply type in the key word and then click on the search icon and the blog spits up all posts related to that word, from most to least recent.
Try it!

  1. Hallo Gerald, I am having a problem using the blog but persevering as I am what is known in UK as a compilliterate silver surfer.I have followed your blog since the beginning and our church prayer group weekly prays for you and you family (but I didnt think that a year later we would be grappling with the same illness.) It took me many months to work out how to add a comment and when it did not appear I thought that it perhaps was not appropriate or that we were too distant in relationship to enter the stream in a meaningful way. I am sure we came to your wedding and on and off have had dealings with the Baxter family over the years Margaret's wedding,Nola was Becca's bridesmaid, Heather's wedding, Mr.Baxter's housegroup and festive occasions, Arthur's illness... However sometimes we know people in a way that transcends space and time, relationship and time-with , in the sharing of yourself with us all at a level not often found even in deep human relationships -for that and much else in your unique expression of your consciousness in your blog we give you so much appreciation, honour and feeling-with and love especially as our journey may be your journey but later...so we feel we know you much better than we actually do. As Morton T Kesley writes "I have a place a value and a destiny that no other person can fulfil" and through your blog you allow us to share in your place, value and destiny and experiences as you face God's time and the awesome proximity of eternity - A great privilege as most people do not think of dying until it is imminent but the greatest certainty in life is facing death so we all, sharing your journey have to face the "dry-run" for ourselves and ask are we ready?(While we still hope pray and believe for physical healing for you (though as Eric told his minister, whether he is healed or not doesn't change anything for his faith or his life or eternity)
So although in trepidation I venture to join you in the blogging stream, someone unknown to you in any depth, I am encouraged to do so by your invitation to "Try it" and thank you again for the privilege. Fenella

  4. If you are looking for any/all references to a particular subject (e.g. ... bowel movements, ...), ... the blog spits up all posts related ...
