OK, my turn again. Warehouse - this is a bit like saying K-Mart or Foodtown are CD shops. Although on can purchase CDs in these places, the lack of specialist attention that these stores give to their CD stock (to put it very mildly) means that they really can't be rated as a CD store. It would be a bit like calling them hardware outlets, florists, greengrocers, butchers, etc.
yes, indeed. CEEDEES. Are you sure it was a dodgy op? I used to love walking up there on a Saturday afternoon with Alexander and/or Sophie, introducing them to the whole second hand CD purchasing culture - shades of Hi Fidelity coming thru, I know, I know... picked up some very good deals there.
the warehouse...?
ReplyDeleteDoesn't The Warehouse sell more music than everyone else combined?
ReplyDeleteno way man.
ReplyDeletebut i know that they could be considered a CD shop, and so they should be up there. even if he doesn't like the warehouse at all.
I know at one point they were (and maybe still are) the biggest. But how big?
ReplyDeletewell idk. but it depends if you're talking about individual shops or the whole franchise
